Built by people who've worked the roads.

Managing Director Wayne Nelthorpe founded Chellan in 2015, after more than a decade in traffic management. He has worked in the industry since 2004, mainly on high speed schemes, rising to TSS. That experience shapes everything we do: monitoring built around the people on site and the way schemes really run.

Our mission is to provide industry-leading CCTV monitoring to the highways sector, using the latest technology while increasing efficiency. We're the only company in the UK that specialises in TTM CCTV monitoring.

Our sister company, Lense Technology Systems, develops the LENSE platform used across our hub.

Wayne Nelthorpe

Managing Director

Founded Chellan in 2015. In traffic management since 2004, mainly on high speed schemes, and a former TSS.

David Sparrow

Operations Manager

Started in the camera room and worked his way up. Now runs day to day operations and client relationships, and helped build LENSE.

Maria Hickenbottom

Camera Room Manager

One of our longest serving team members. Maria manages the camera room and has built a great rapport with the recovery teams and her team at the hub.

Mya Sarsfield

Client and Admin Manager

The first point of contact for our clients, making sure every scheme gets the support it needs and leading our social media and community work.
